I had so much fun taking Amelia and Tim’s engagement photos at North Avenue Beach and the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk on the most perfect mid-October Chicago morning! For not being a morning person, I sure loved waking up early that day because it meant beautiful light and sun flares galore for their engagement session!! Up until their session, all of my couples sessions at North Ave for the year have been in the evening—which has beautiful soft light that I love shooting in–but I forgot how magical it can be to be some of the only people along the lakefront trail as the sun comes up. Amelia and Tim also could not be any cuter if they tried, so that combined with the gorgeous light made my job pretty easy. After we finished up with all the golden, sunrise goodness and the skyline view, we walked over to the boardwalk where the fall foliage was looking 10/10.
