Tiffany + Joey’s Cedar Rapids Wedding Day

What a beautiful day it was for a wedding at A Touch of Class in Cedar Rapids! I’d never been to this venue before Tiffany and Joey’s big day but I loved the space so much, especially the little pavilion where the ceremony took place. It was definitely a midsummer Iowa day which meant hot and humid weather; when I went outside to take Joey to the spot they were going to do their first look, I took a few photos of him to get my camera settings all ready and my lens was completely fogged up! Luckily it went away after being outside for about a minute and I had a little lens cleaner in my bag for good measure so everything was ready for their first look. Right before the ceremony started, there was cottonwood falling everywhere around the guests as this beautiful, light music played and it was so magical that made every minute spent in the July heat worth it!

Something I really loved about their wedding day were the little aspects that were unique to them as a couple: Tiffany’s grandma was the flower girl; Joey does woodworking so he made their centerpieces and most of their reception decorations himself (which I was SO impressed by, they looked amazing); they had a caricature artist during the reception and dueling pianos instead of a DJ because Joey loves dueling pianos so Tiffany surprised him with them for their wedding day!! I also loved Joey’s speech because he had everyone in the room cracking up but finished it off with the sweetest words to Tiffany. And, of course, my other favorite part of the day was GOLDEN HOUR PHOTOS by the side of the highway. Scroll on down to see these beautiful details from the day!
